Stayed at the best place ever in Cantabria! Ideal for solo travelers, affordable with amazing ambiance. Jaw-dropping medieval decor, no IKEA-style furniture. Cute balcony with a view. 12 pm check-out. Cala of Santa Justa just an hour away. Highly recommend!

I stayed at this lovely family-run hotel for a few nights and had a wonderful experience. The location, slightly off the center but with free parking, was perfect. The facade adorned with flowers and the onsite carpentry workshop added to its picturesque charm. Inside, the hotel was well maintained with excellent woodwork. My attic room was peaceful and private, with views of trees and the sound of birds in the morning. The hotel is located right on the Camino, making it convenient for travelers. Plus, there were plenty of dining options in the village, and the Torture Museum was a historically important visit, even though a quick 45 minutes was enough for me.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great location in the heart of a charming village. The hotel offers affordable rates and clean facilities. The staff is friendly and helpful, even going out of their way to return a forgotten item of clothing. The room had a lovely view and all the necessary amenities, making my stay comfortable and enjoyable.
The walls of the hotel were quite thin, making it easy to hear conversations from neighboring rooms. there was no common area for guests to gather, which made it difficult for larger groups to socialize.

Charming, well-maintained place with excellent woodwork. Family-owned carpentry workshop on site. Quiet attic room with a lovely view of trees and birds singing. Perfect location, close to everything and right on the Camino.
Felt like visiting family, no complaints at all.

I had a bit of a mix-up with the hotel's arrival instructions, but thankfully a kind neighbor helped me get in touch with someone who quickly resolved the issue. It was a relief to finally get into my room after a long day of traveling.

Staying at Hospedaje Octavio was a delightful experience. The property, tucked away from the center, offered free parking and a charming facade adorned with blooming flowers. The family-run establishment displayed a carpentry workshop, adding to its picturesque appeal. The owners were incredibly kind and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. The room was lovely, and we were pleasantly surprised by the vibrant village. The multitude of dining options and the intriguing Torture Museum provided a unique cultural experience. Although we didn't spend as much time as others in the museum, it held significant historical importance. The location was ideal, the showers were refreshing, and the place was impeccably clean. Despite the language barrier, the owners made every effort to communicate effectively.
Couldn't find any faults at all. 👌
